Our finishing facility covers over 10,000 sq ft with metal plants and a highly trained workforce who has considerable knowledge and experience in the metal finishing industry. The most common form of anodising is sulphuric acid anodising. An anodic film thickness of up to 30 microns can be produced, depending on the grade of alloy and end use of the components.

Hard anodising is a high-tech, extreme engineering finish. It is extensively used in the aerospace and marine industry on components which are subject to extreme heat,abrasion and corrosive conditions.

We are able to offer a range of anodising colours. Anodising colour can be affected by a number of variables: alloy type and temper, load time, etch time, tank temperature and coating thickness.
Black and Silver
Mechanical polishing is the smoothing of a surface using mechanical tools. Mechanical polishing is performed in steps with progressively finer abrasives until a smoothness is achieved.
Tin colouring is the process of depositing tin sulphate into anodic pores through a rectified electric process. Different amounts of tin sulphate, allow a range of colours from light champagne to dark black as well as many different shades of bronze. The results give excellent UV resistance giving this process excellent characteristics for architectural purposes.
These coatings are mainly used to slow the effects of corrosion on aluminium, zinc, magnesium and their alloys.
